Commodity Entry Requirements
NURSERY STOCK
AND SEEDS














 •  Shall be commercially packed, dry and free from soil, pests,
   diseases and other extraneous contamination.

•  Shall be packed in new packaging and labeled according to
   Genus species and varieties.

•  A phytosanitary Certificate is required to accompany seeds and
    plants stating conditions, origin and any given treatment.

•  All consignments are subject to Quarantine inspection on Arrival.

•  Post entry quarantine conditions may be imposed.

•  All unidentified nursery stock, or seed, is subject to re export, or
   destruction at importers expense.
ADDITIONAL FOR -PALMS •  In the case of Palmaceae and related species, only seeds and
   seedlings are be allowed, and then only if obtained from nurseries
   free of Palm Lethal Yellowing Disease. An endorsed
   Phytosanitary Certificate is required to this effect.
ADDITIONAL FOR - ORCHIDS •  Orchids must be obtained from areas or nurseries free of Orchid
   Cane Weevil. An endorsed Phytosanitary Certificate is required to
   this effect.
