Examples of Animal Products that require inspection
include;
- Feather items
- Carvings with animal hair attached
- Eggs, for eating, or as painted souvenir
- Animal skins, drums or other musical instruments
with a skin content
- Dog chews, dried pigs or cow ears
- Animal horns
Always declare these items,
and if in doubt ask a Quarantine Officer for
advice. Some items may be prohibited entry,
and others may require treatment before entry
can be allowed.
